In 2021, ULearn began with a basic brand package from an external vendor. Over the past three years, our in-house team evolved it into a robust, flexible brand system—expanding the visual language, launching sub-brands, and supporting co-branded initiatives to meet the needs of a growing organization.

As senior designer, I helped shape the direction of the ULearn brand, providing vision and guidance through a systems-thinking approach. My focus on consistency and scalability ensured the brand remained impactful across all touchpoints.

The brand’s evolution was a true team effort, and I’m proud of how it now reflects ULearn’s innovation, clarity, and purpose.

Solution

ULearn’s brand began in 2021 with a basic starter kit from an external vendor. Over the next three years, the in-house creative team transformed it into a comprehensive, scalable brand system to support a growing organization.

A 120+ page brand guide—later migrated online—established standards for typography, color, logos, imagery, sub-branding (LAFFs), and co-branding. A distinct green and gradient system helped differentiate ULearn within Comcast while maintaining alignment with the parent brand. The launch of the ULearn Brand Hub provided a centralized platform for accessing brand standards and assets, improving consistency across teams.

As part of this effort, I played a key role in shaping the brand and owned the design of the organization’s PowerPoint template from start to finish. Based on user research, I created a flexible, accessible system that includes:

  • 35 master slides

  • 70+ pre-designed layouts

  • A resource library of editable charts, icons, and infographics

The template empowers non-designers to create polished, on-brand presentations with ease.
